Bradford Neonatal Unit provides family centred care, which includes providing infant massage instruction for parents, and working with a team of experienced outreach midwives to integrate hospital to home services.
At present we do not have an ANNP role, but our nursing staff have extended their roles and we are moving towards nurse led ventilation for weaning purposes, and nurse led ward rounds in low dependency.

We have a registered charity B.U.R.P.S (baby unit regional parent’s society) who have a regular programme of events to support parents and raise funds
